  Mark Robison is the Political Science Librarian and Department Head for Academic Collections & Services at Hesburgh Library, University of Notre Dame. As the Department Head for Academic Collections & Services, Mark Robison oversees the Hesburgh Libraries’ collection strategy and acquisition operations, and he works collaboratively to implement innovative, data-driven assessment approaches to effectively steward the collections budget. Mark is also the Political Science Librarian and is responsible for the development and management of the political science collection, providing research consultations, and delivering library instruction. His research interests include transfer student success, libraries of things, and the history of reference services.

  Evan Simpson is Associate Dean for Research and Learning at Northeastern University Library. The University Library is a vital partner in Northeastern’s emerging global university model, supporting 45K students, faculty, and staff across 14+ campuses in North America and the UK. Evan provides strategic leadership for collaboration and integration in the teaching and learning ecosystem and plays a central role driving development of partnerships supporting research. In addition to public services Evan oversees Archives and Special Collections and Collection Development and Scholarly Communications. He specializes in strategic planning, advocacy for the library, and developing distinctive programs and initiatives at the intersection of experiential learning, digital scholarship, and community engagement.
