  Connie leads a team that works with campus stakeholders to turn information into insights. They use bibliometric, institutional, funding, and industry data from different sources and create visualizations to identify research strengths, understand collaboration networks and potential partnerships, and show impact. They also prepare background reports and benchmarking studies by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing key readings and web materials.

  Research Visibility & Impact CoordinatorUniversity of Houston

  In her role as the Research Visibility and Impact Coordinator, Andrea works with faculty and researchers to develop strategies for increasing the visibility of their research and gathers metrics to assist them with communicating the national and global impact of their research.

  Andrea’s professional and research interests include scholarly metrics, international librarianship, mentoring, and Francophone studies. She’s actively involved in the American Library Association and the Modern Language Association

  Kelly Cobey

  Associate Professor in the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa; Co-Chair of DORA

  Dr. Kelly Cobey is a scientist at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, where she leads the Metaresearch and Open Science Program. She is also an associate professor in the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa.

  Dr. Cobey has interests in topics including the implementation of open science, the reporting quality of research, data management and sharing best practices, research reproducibility, and patient engagement in research. She holds a number of national and international leadership positions in the academic research community, including acting as the co-chair of DORA (Declaration On Research Assessment).
