  Mina Razzak, PhD

  With a biomedical science degree from Victoria University of Wellington and a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Cambridge, Mina leads editorial operations for all the Nature Reviews journals, previously overseeing the launch of Nature Reviews Disease Primers as its Chief Editor. In her role, she has championed diversity, equity and inclusion in publishing and has worked with the editorial teams of Nature Reviews to build multiple platforms and processes to enhance inclusive publishing practices in the journals.

  Christine-Maria Horejs, PhD

  Chief EditorNature Reviews Bioengineering

  Christine started at Springer Nature in 2017 as an editor for Nature Reviews Materials, where she handled the topics of biomaterials, nanomedicine and bioengineering. From July 2019, she moved to be a locum senior editor at Nature Nanotechnology, where she was primarily responsible for the areas of nanomedicine and nanobiotechnology. In January 2021, she became Chief Editor of Nature Reviews Materials, and since January 2022, she has been Chief Editor of Nature Reviews Bioengineering. Christine has an MSci and PhD in nanobiotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria. She did her postdoc in the lab of Molly Stevens at Imperial College London, UK, investigating the extracellular matrix and cell–material interactions, and she conducted research at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden, where she studied anti-fibrotic biomaterials in vivo. Christine is based in Berlin, Germany.

  Olga Bubnova, PhD

  Chief EditorNature Reviews Electrical Engineering

  Olga received her master’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2005 from Samara State Aerospace University in Russia. After graduation, she spent three years working as a system engineer in the electronics and automotive industries. In 2008, she began her studies on organic thermoelectrics at Linköping University in Sweden, where she went on to obtain her PhD. Later she worked at the University of Cambridge as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on organic photovoltaics. Olga joined Nature Research in October 2015 and worked at Nature Nanotechnology first as Associate then as Senior Editor. She became Chief Editor at Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering in 2023 and is currently based in London.

  Jill Adie, PhD

  Head of Publishing StrategyNature Journals

  Jill Adie is a Head of Publishing Strategy – Nature Journals, at Springer Nature based in London, UK. She has a PhD in structural biology and BSc in pharmacology from the University of Edinburgh, and previously worked as a clinical trial Project Manager at Quintiles, then as a Science Communication Product Manager at Springer Nature. With over 10 years of experience working in STEM publishing, Jill currently manages the new Nature launches, and the Nature Reviews portfolio of journals, working closely with editorial, production, sales and marketing teams to ensure the Nature Reviews titles provide best-in-class service for authors and readers.
