Yulia V. Sevryugina
Chemistry & Interim Math LibrarianUniversity of Michigan, Library of Health SciencesAt University of Michigan, Yulia assists U-M researchers, educators, and students in discovering and effectively using information resources in chemistry and mathematics. Her work supports research, teaching, and learning within the Departments of Chemistry, Mathematics, and related units. She provides training and consultations on library resources, research methodologies, and collection development to align with curriculum needs and advance scholarly work while also offering guidance on scientific writing, manuscript preparation, Wikipedia editing, literature search strategies, and citation management tools. Additionally, she collaborates with faculty and students on outreach initiatives, DEI projects, grant and manuscript development, and technology-enhanced teaching. Current professional interests include education, data science, scholarly literature analysis, and open access publishing practices.
Helen Bischoff
Coordinator of Liaison Services University of Kentucky LibrariesAt the University of Kentucky, Helen Bischoll is the Coordinator of Liaison Services. She coordinates their team-based liaison model across the University of Kentucky libraries. She has experience in many areas of librarianship, but her true passion lies in providing access through instruction, research consultations, online services, team training, and discovering free, high-quality resources for students and faculty to use in their personal and academic pursuits. She also enjoys experimenting with ed tech tools which can enhance learning, access, and transfer of information. Her goal is to provide students and faculty with information that will help them gain access to resources or skills they may not otherwise have the opportunity to attain.
