Joshua Marsh, Ph.D.
Graduate Research & Instruction LibrarianJerry Falwell Library, Liberty UniversityDr. Marsh is a graduate of Appalachian State University, Old Dominion University, Western Kentucky University, and the University of Kentucky. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, a Master’s Degree in Education, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Dr. Marsh has served as a faculty member at East Tennessee State University, High Point University, and Appalachian State University. Before joining the faculty at Liberty University and the Jerry Falwell Library, Dr. Marsh served as an Instructional Designer at NC A&T State University. Dr. Marsh is an associate professor in the Jerry Falwell Library at Liberty University, where he serves faculty and graduate students in their research. Dr. Marsh is an Apple Certified Learning Coach and will be leading micro-webinars this October at Liberty University on how to utilize Apple devices for research. Dr. Marsh also has a textbook which will be released this Spring through VIVA (Virginia’s Academic Library Consortium) on Foundational Leadership Studies. His most recent publication featured the use of AI with Plicker Technologies to address students’ research needs.
David Leffler
Discovery and Access LibrarianLiberty UniversityDavid began his role as the Discovery and Access Librarian in November of 2021. He earned his master’s in library and information sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2021 and a B.A. in Philosophy and Theology from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2018. In 2024 he served as a Fulbright Specialist to a library in Uzbekistan to help modernize their library system.
Emily Singley
Vice President, North American Library RelationsElsevierEmily Singley is the Vice President, North American Library Relations at Elsevier. Previously she served as Associate University Librarian for Technology and Technical Services at Boston College, where her management portfolio included scholarly communication, metadata, technology, digitization, and acquisitions. Emily has also held library technology roles at Harvard University, Southern New Hampshire University, and Curry College.
