Health Sciences LibrarianStony Brook UniversityLaurel Scheinfeld is a Health Sciences Librarian at The State University of New York (SUNY) Stony Brook. She earned her Master’s Degree in Library Science in 2011 and is a Distinguished Member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals. She teaches APA Style Citation Workshops for the campus community and her research interests include assessing the accuracy of citation tools.
Carrie Forbes, MLS
Liaison Librarian to the ECU College of NursingEast Carolina UniversityCarrie Forbes is a nursing liaison librarian at Laupus Health Sciences Library of East Carolina University. She specializes in APA formatting and working with undergraduate and graduate nursing students. She received her MLS from ECU. Prior to her role as a librarian, Carrie worked as the ILL manager for Laupus Library for over 15 years. In addition to her professional work as a liaison librarian, she has authored 5 gluten-free cookbooks. Carrie is also a certified Death/End of Life Doula. She loves cats, cooking, writing & journaling, listening to audiobooks, and attending Broadway musicals.
