How can product analytics and user research inform librarians on how to better serve user needs?

Summary:

Combining product analytics and user research is a powerful way to understand your users’ needs and behavior. In this webinar we will discuss what we have learned about how end users typically use book and journal content. Using ScienceDirect’s Topic page as an example, we will show how analytics and user research has enabled us to better serve librarians’ and users’ needs for reference content, the limitations and advantages of each method and how librarians can conduct their own research on campus.
