TIE Preview of Upcoming Reads on Health and Medicine, 2026

With insurance premiums continually on the rise, especially among ACA providers following recent cuts to government subsidies, and coverage becoming stricter across the board, health and wellness are increasingly pressing topics. TIE‘s latest preview of upcoming reads considers almost every conceivable aspect of health and medicine, spanning diverse perspectives on mental health and counseling, reproductive health, aging, and medical ethics, among many other topics. There is much to peruse here, with special considerations for how race, gender, and culture affect outcomes.
