TIE‘s latest “Preview of Upcoming Reads” features another new topic: childhood studies. Titles in this list consider child development, including the impact of technology; child welfare and children’s vulnerabilities; and the intersections of race and disability on children’s and youths’ lived experiences. This is a short list, but one representative of a diverse array of topics and voices. We hope it will herald a flurry of more books to come on childhood studies in the future.
Looking ahead, next month we will highlight forthcoming titles on: Poverty & Labor Studies.
