WEBINAR: Engaging University Students in the Age of AI

Students' needs and expectations have changed. How can we meet them?

It’s no secret that things have changed at universities after the pandemic—sometimes in obvious ways and other times in ways that are much harder to place. Educators and librarians have observed deteriorating mental health among students, the expanded presence of technology use in classrooms and assignments, or simply that students require more academic support. These conversations have played out in staff rooms and opinion pages, but with the start of the new school year rapidly approaching, every educator and librarian needs a strong footing.

For that reason, we wanted to reshare Choice’s recent webinar from Clarivate, “Supporting and Engaging Students in a Post-Pandemic, AI-Powered World.” Clarivate undertook a survey of educators, librarians, and students to better understand the changing attitudes and struggles of the student body. Their research examines how the pandemic shaped the expectations for digital services and how students are using AI for school. There’s plenty to learn from this webinar that will prepare you for the upcoming school year.
