In an encore to last year’s micro-course, “AI Literacy Essentials for Academic Libraries,” Choice and Clarivate have collaborated to create a new three-part course to deepen this discussion. These new modules will be released monthly over the summer, providing self-paced, practical guidance on emerging challenges and opportunities in campus AI implementation. As with the first part of the course, these lessons were written by librarians for librarians, reflecting the needs and concerns of the broader higher ed community.

Lessons feature a variety of different resources and components: overview essays, case studies, roundtables, on-the-ground examples, multimedia content, and readings.

Modules will cover:

  • How to connect libraries to the AI ecosystem
  • How to integrate AI into pedagogy
  • How AI is creating library workflow efficiencies

Registration is free and will be open for the next six months. The first cohort will launch on July 1. Those who registered for the previous micro-course will need to reenroll to receive these new lessons.
