The US government, encompassing everything from the Library of Congress to specific agencies, is one of the biggest publishers in the country. Though many of its documents have lived online for some time, they haven’t always been easy to access. This has changed with the recent launch of DiscoverGov, a federated database aggregating many government databases into a single, searchable database.
In this installment of ✨LibTech Tools✨, hosted by Choice editor and publisher Rachel Hendrick and information services industry expert Gary Price, Gary provides a brief introduction to DiscoverGov. He highlights the similarities between DiscoverGov and other Ex Libris databases and the unique features that will make DiscoverGov an important resource for researchers.
