Researchers using open web resources have always struggled with a very basic problem: web pages are unstable. Creators can change the contents of the web page, or the site itself can go down. In a previous installment of ✨LibTech Tools✨, hosted by Choice editor and publisher Rachel Hendrick and information services industry expert Gary Price, Rachel and Gary covered the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine as an easy way to save a web page. But what if you want more control over your archival efforts?
In that case, you should try SingleFile. In this short video, Gary and Rachel review the functionality of SingleFile and compare it to the Wayback Machine.
