Internet Resources: December 2022 Edition
Selected reviews of digital reference resources from Choice.

Choice’s annual Digital Resources Directory collects and presents new and enhanced digital resources that are useful in teaching undergraduates and of interest to academic libraries. Including many titles that will be released or improved throughout the coming academic year, the directory is designed to serve as a year-long reference in Choice Reviews and freely available here on the Open Stacks blog.
The directory is arranged by subject in broad categories that will be familiar to Choice readers. Headings for content categories proceed from Reference and General through Humanities, Science & Technology, and Social & Behavioral Sciences. Each of the three major disciplines has some of Choice’s more specific subject subheadings within it, but in general resources are listed in broad divisions. Several of Choice’s useful interdisciplinary topics (African and African American Studies; Food & Agriculture; Islamic Studies; Law & Society; and Women’s and Gender Studies) complete the content listing. A final section on Librarian Tools & Professional Development points out resources of most interest to librarians rather than students.
Readers will find all types of electronic products listed: databases, software, and services; and collections of ebooks, journals, and reference works. Within a subject category, entries are alphabetical by title and include a short description and a link for more information.
The directory concludes with an alphabetical listing of the publishers and producers whose products are represented, including the URL of the main website for general company information. Facebook and Twitter addresses for each organization are listed too, as those are the sites where the publishers actively give new information about events and publications that will update this listing throughout the coming year.
Choice thanks the publishers who provided the descriptions and information for this annual feature.
