Nanette DeRemer

Nanette DeRemer is the Technical Services Librarian at Cedar Crest College. She specializes in collection development, acquisitions & cataloging, archives, social media, and engagement. Nanette is passionate about community service, information literacy, book access and diversity and strives to create an environment that allows everyone to feel seen and welcome on campus. To further this mission, she serves on the Campus Communicators Committee, is a Student Leader Supervisor, manages the ‘Falcon’ Free Little Library (Charter #136841) and assists in the curation of the diverse children’s and YA literature collection, #WeRead360 (Literacy Today April/May/June 2022) in partnership with the Education Department. Additionally, she serves on the Closing the Gap Committee, which strives to provide support for student learning by eliminating barriers to their success. Nanette holds a BA in Art History from Temple University and an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh.
